The original VELUX DSL solar powered blackout roller blind provides total darkness with the convenience of remote control. It is completely wireless, powered by the sun, and fits perfectly into your roof window. It is the perfect choice for bedrooms, children’s rooms, or out-of-reach windows. Designed to fit popular models like VELUX GGL or GGU (e.g. MK04, M06, S06). Premium Colors come in several colors.
The blind features a built-in solar cell and comes with a wireless wall switch (included). No wiring is required for installation. It moves in slim aluminum side guides preventing light leakage.
Please note: Installing a VELUX MHL external awning blind together with the solar-powered DSL roller blind is not recommended, as the awning blind fabric can shade the solar panel and reduce charging efficiency.
If, besides complete blackout, you need better thermal insulation, choose the VELUX FSC Solar Pleated Blind (honeycomb structure).
